The CIF Southern Section released its playoff pairings for the Central Division at 10 a.m. Sunday. Here’s a look at a bracket:

Paloma Valley at No. 1 Summit

La Quinta at Colony

Colton at Elsinore

Chaffey at No. 4 Rancho Verde

J.W. North at No. 3 Kaiser

Temescal Canyon at Palm Springs

Arlington at Chino

Palm Desert at No. 2 Heritage

Let’s take a closer look at the games featuring DVL teams:

Temescal Canyon (5-5) at Palm Springs (8-2): Located in Lake Elsinore, Temescal Canyon finished third in the competitive Sunbelt League, whose champion is No. 2 overall seed Heritage.

La Quinta (4-6) at Colony (6-4): Colony, which is located in Ontario, finished second in the Mt. Baldy League. It advanced to the Central Division semifinals last year. La Quinta and J.W. North were the two second-place teams that didn’t receive home games.

Palm Desert (3-7) at Heritage (9-1): Located in Romoland, Heritage is the No. 2 overall seed and won the Sunbelt League title.

In the East Valley Division, Shadow Hills received an at-large berth. The Knights (6-4) will travel to Banning (9-1) to play the Broncos, which beat them 50-47 in Indio in September.
